Why Turquoise?

Long a sacred treasure in Native American culture, legend has it that turquoise is a piece of the sky that fell to Earth. Heralded for its healing and purifying properties, turquoise is seen as a symbol of the sun's life-giving energy. Its beauty reflects the natural powers of both sky and water.

Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty, sourced from a mine near Globe, Arizona, is highly sought after because of its pure, robin-egg blue coloring. Because turquoise extraction has ceased at Sleeping Beauty, you'll be wearing a powerful piece of history.

Kingman

Navajos once mined Kingman turquoise as early as 600 A.D. Later rediscovered in the 1800s, it is the last commercially mined source of turquoise. The Kingman mine is tucked into the Cerbat Mountains in Mohave County.
